M6 x 1 Stainless Socket Cap Bolts

from 0.75

Highest quality Stainless steal button head M6 bolts by Wheels Manufacturing. M6 x 1 refers to the the size and pitch of the threads. It's the second most common size for bikes.

The most common size is M5 x .08; this size can be found on most rack, and fender braze ons.

Select your size! size is an indication of thread lenght, don't count the head of the bolt.

We recommend socket cap head bolts for  most things as the larger head lets you get a lot of torque with a hex wrench.

We use the longer ones for securing front fender darumas inside the fork crown on bikes that don't already have somthing going through the fork crown like a rack stay bolt.

*We recomend using socket cap bolts for things like racks, fenders, and anything else that needs to be a little extra tight as it gets flexed or torqued on.
