CUSTOM BIKES HANDCRAFTED IN PORTLAND
We're a small local bike shop... sort of. We're just frame-builders... sort of. We're kind of both! Norther Cycles is a shop started by builders trying to give our customers the best of all worlds. We are frame builders, but we didn't want to stay hidden in our unmarked shops. So we started a full retail shop with a focus on hand crafted and functional bikes. We do repairs, and upgrades on bikes as well as build complete hand crafted bikes from the tube set up! No job is to small or to large.
Keeping the tradition of quality hand made bikes alive. No cash-in new fads here...no plastic bikes, no 7,000 new "standards", no overpriced junk, or cheep crap that is destined for the scrap pile right out of the packaging...just quality parts with the best of traditional form, function, and performance.
